How cross-device sync works
Your notes use the same account and cloud data source.
- Sign in with the same account on every device.
- When NoteFlow opens, it retrieves the latest cloud changes.
- Creating, editing, moving, pinning, archiving, or deleting is uploaded after it is saved.
- If two devices change the same note, NoteFlow preserves a conflict copy instead of immediately overwriting changes.
- Open Settings > Backup & Restore > Review copies to compare and recover conflict copies.
- Attachments are stored separately from note metadata in cloud storage.
Sync & backupBackup and restore
Use automatic recovery points and encrypted backup downloads.
+
Backup and restore
Use automatic recovery points and encrypted backup downloads.
- Open Settings > Backup & Restore.
- NoteFlow creates recovery points while the app is active and online; the process can be delayed while closed or offline.
- Daily backups include text and images, while weekly backups also include file attachments.
- Use Download to save an encrypted .noteflow snapshot before changing devices or making a major change.
- Use Restore to select the appropriate backup, then check folders, notes, reminders, and several attachments.
